Elections

SnapBallot supports the full range of elections a member-based organization is likely to run, including board of directors elections, bylaw amendments, contract ratifications, special votes and referendums, and run-offs and tiebreakers. Administrators can add candidate biographies, customize ballots to align with their bylaws, and add write-in options without requiring a technical background.

Anonymous Voting

Ballots are encrypted and anonymous by default, so admins and organizers can see who voted without seeing how they voted. Only participation is tracked, not individual choices.

Weighted Voting

For organizations where voting rights are based on ownership, membership class, or proxy assignments, or other governing rules, SnapBallot supports custom vote weighting so election results accurately reflect the organization’s voting structure.

Voting Notifications

SnapBallot includes built-in voter communications to support every stage of the election. Administrators can customize invitation, reminder, and confirmation emails, helping voters receive timely updates before and after casting their ballot. Every plan includes one invitation email, and two reminder emails sent automatically to voters who have not yet participated.
